Liability Waiver
I understand that the FeetUp classes and Yin Yoga & Meditation classes provided by Freya Bennett-Overstall in a studio setting, and/or via an online class and/or video rental include physical movements. As is the case with any physical activity the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated.
It is important that I listen to my body and respect its limits on any given day.
If I experience any ‘risky pain’ (sharp, stabbing or shooting pain, strong burning or electrical tingling sensations) or a sense of overwhelm or alarm during a class with Freya Bennett-Overstall I will assume responsibility to modify the pose or withdraw from the pose or meditation completely. I will discuss any concerns with Freya Bennett-Overstall. I agree to take full responsibility for any risks, loss, injury, damage or liability, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in a class with Freya Bennett-Overstall. While engaging in any of these classes either in a studio setting or via online classes or videos I shall do so at my own risk.
I agree it is my responsibility to consult with a registered health practitioner before joining any classes, particularly if I have any concerns, health challenges or injuries.
I will make my teacher, Freya Bennett-Overstall, aware of any medical conditions or limitations before class, including pregnancy.
I understand that yoga and meditation is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.
By booking a studio or online class and/or renting a class video I affirm that I participate in FeetUP Classes &/or Yin Yoga & Meditation Classes with Freya Bennett-Overstall at my own risk. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against Freya Bennett-Overstall for any personal injury or negligence from participating in her FeetUp classes and/or Yin Yoga & Meditation classes and irrevocably agree to fully indemnify her against such claims.
I agree that if I am under 18 years of age I must have this form read and agreed to by my parent or legal guardian.
By participating in a studio class or by using in any way any online or video content provided by Freya Bennett-Overstall I warrant that I have read, fully understand and agree to the contents of this Liability Waiver and recognise that this serves as the complete and unconditional release of all liability and agreement to provide full indemnity in respect of all claim to the greatest extent allowed by law and that this position cannot be changed orally.
