At the beginning of this year, I would never have imagined that I would have an illustration of mine printed onto tea towels...yet here they are!
I began drawing and painting again this year to help express my ideas for writing my book... this led to my seasonal Wonder Full Women graphic (a joint creation with Karen Bravo) and My Seasonal Signs illustration. Both of these can be found in my book - Wonder Full Women. Attune & Bloom. Eat, Move & Meditate with the Seasons - which is due to be published early next year (we're almost up to the final design and layout stage).
Thank you to everyone for your support, particularly to Brigitte for the tea towel suggestion. This week I have ordered a second print run, with more beige tea towels this time 😘, (hopefully they will arrive just before Christmas).
It took a little while for me to find a printing company I felt comfortable with. I eventually found The Linen Press, a small family-run Melbourne-based company. The Linen Press involves 3 generations working together. Gordon has been so helpful to work with and he took me for a tour around the premises last week when I picked up my first order. Did you know that organic cotton products have to be stored separately from non-organic products?
I have to admit I am in a state of wonder at having written a book this year and with having my illustration printed on tea towels... And again, I have SO many people to thank for their help and support in doing so. I am blessed to have many wonderful women and marvelous men in my life. Thank you, thank you, everyone 🙏.
